In this light-hearted filk, dedicated to the 2005 Kerths, Lex Luthor explains his views on life to the background of Season One. This filk is sung to the tune of "Just a Spoonful of Sugar Helps the Medicine Go Down," from Mary Poppins. Stage directions are included, with an optional ending for those for prefer their Lexes to be not only shaken, but also stirred and splatted.

This filk is set to the tune of "Supercalifragelis..." Don't ask me to spell out the rest of it. ;) It was quite fun to use a great deal of the phraseology of the original and apply it to this LnC version! Phil Atcliffe, and other like-minded FoLCs, are more than welcome to add in the "um-diddle-iddlys" to their hearts' content. :)

Written in July 2000 for the Los Angeles Fan Fest, this filk of Don McLean's "American Pie" salutes the real heroes of Lois and Clark. Rated G. Very vague spoilers for all seasons.

The filk was performed at LAFF 2000 on my behalf by Laurie and Kristin, whom I thank most warmly. :) For those of you who are interested in such things, the scansion for the verses and chorus follows the first, second, third, and final stanzas of Don McLean's original "American Pie." Accept no substitutes. Don't even think of listening to Madonna's.

Tempus accidentally snatches Lois before she knows that CK=S -- and Wells isn't there to help Lois figure things out!
